METAIRIE, La. – Following a series of interviews, the Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Jefferson Chamber approved the endorsement of three more candidates in Districts I, II, and III, respectively, in the upcoming Kenner City Elections.
Kenner is not only the largest city in Jefferson Parish, but also home to one of the largest economic drivers in the region, the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Like Jefferson Parish, the City of Kenner is experiencing record interest in housing and business relocation. This makes capable and prudent leadership most important.
On February 3, the Jefferson Chamber PAC announced its first series of endorsements in the Kenner City Elections, backing Mike Glaser, Keith Conley, and Brian Brennan. Below is the updated list of candidates receiving PAC endorsement:
- Mayor – Mike Glaser
- Chief of Police – Keith Conley
- Council District 1 – Dee Dunn
- Council District 2 – Ronnie Scharwath
- Council District 3 – Joey LaHatte
- Council District 5 – Brian Brennan
George Branigan, District 4, and At-Large candidates Kristi McKinney and Tom Wilmott were elected without opposition.
